North Mymms 3 v 1 First Xl         Bovingdon Reserves 1 v 0  Reserves
Both sides suffered their first defeat's of the season. After a disappointing first half performance The First Xl attempted to recover a 2 - 0 deficit but despite dominating the second half and reducing the deficit to 2 - 1 thanks to a Mario Ekkeshis strike, they conceded late in the game against the run of play and were dumped out of the Aubrey Cup at the first hurdle. The Reserves suffered a similar fate going 1 - 0 down early in the first half and squandering a host of opportunities to earn the points their efforts deserved.
Bank Holiday Monday
Sarratt 1 v 3 First Xl
Martin Collett struck a stunning first half hat trick to earn Hinton all three points in their quest for the Division 1 Championship and despite a spirited second half performance from Sarratt, Hinton did enough to deserve all three points and move to 2nd in the table.

Saturday 25th August
First Xl 3 v 1 Cuffley
The First Xl secured their first win of the season with a deserved 3 - 1 victory against Cuffley to move to 5th.  After conceding a goal in the 17th minute against the run of play, Joe Longworth levelled the scores 15 minutes into the second half heading home from a Scott Deamer free kick, before Erdam Dosdogru produced the moment of the match, gliding past 3 Cuffley defenders before slotting home to give Hinton the lead. Martin Collett added Hinton's third with a sublime chip over the Cuffley keeper after combining with Huseyin Tasan, following a quickly taken Paul Clarke free kick

A late equaliser from stand-in Manager Stelios Ekkeshis earned the Reserves the point that puts them top of division 1
